Nick Cauley is a Dallas native who migrated to Louisiana to play baseball for Louisiana Tech in 2000. During the summer of 2002 he was employed as a laborer for the newly constructed Squire Creek Country Club.
After graduating, Nick moved back to Texas where he was employed by Preston Trail in Dallas. Longing for a slower pace of life, Nick moved his family back to Ruston and stepped into Squire Creek as Assistant Superintendent. During that time, Nick earned his Turfgrass Management Certification from Penn State. In 2008, Nick was named Superintendent at Squire. His unique understanding of every aspect of golf course management makes him a leader in his field. He maintains an outstanding reputation within the golf course community and is noted for his ability to keep the greens in outstanding playing condition. Nick has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is familiar with hosting large-scale tournaments such as the USGA Women's Mid-Am. He has been a Class A Superintendent for eight years.
Nick has been married for 15 years to Amanda Arnold Cauley, from Hallsville, TX. She is a teacher and volleyball coach. Together they have three daughters: Harper (13), Baylor Kate (10), and Josie (7). They are sports enthusiasts and in his free time Nick loves to hunt.
